Elizabeth Onusko is a poet, artist, and editor.

Her poetry collection Portrait of the Future with Trapdoor received the 2015 Bryant-Lisembee Book Prize (Red Paint Hill, 2016). Her poems have appeared or are forthcoming in Bennington Review, The Believer, Poetry Northwest, Sixth Finch, Washington Square Review, Columbia Poetry Review, Conduit, and Southern Humanities Review, among others.

Elizabeth edits Foundry. She serves as an advisory board member for The Seventh Wave, and she is a founding editor of Guernica.

After working for years as a fundraiser, Elizabeth now consults with literary publishers on strategic planning, fundraising, and editorial practices.

She holds an MFA in Poetry from Sarah Lawrence College and an MA in English with a Writing Concentration from Fordham University.
