Elizabeth Onusko is a poet and painter who lives in New York. She is the author ofPortrait of the Future with Trapdoor, which received the 2015 Bryant-Lisembee Book Prize (Red Paint Hill, 2016). Her poems have appeared or are forthcoming in Bennington Review, Best New Poets 2015, The Sun, Poetry Northwest, Sixth Finch,Conduit, DIAGRAM, Columbia Poetry Review, Smartish Pace, Tupelo Quarterly, and Southern Humanities Review, among others. She has written book reviews for Coldfront and Barrelhouse.
Elizabeth edits Foundry. She serves as an advisory board member for Nat. Brut and The Seventh Wave, and she is a founding editor of Guernica. She holds an MFA in Poetry from Sarah Lawrence College and an MA in English with a Writing Concentration from Fordham University.
