Elizabeth Onusko is the author ofPortrait of the Future with Trapdoor, which received the 2015 Bryant-Lisembee Book Prize and was published by Red Paint Hill in spring 2016. Her poems have appeared or are forthcoming in Bennington Review, Best New Poets 2015, Conduit, DIAGRAM, Sixth Finch,Poetry Northwest, Columbia Poetry Review, Smartish Pace, Tupelo Quarterly, and Southern Humanities Review, among others. She has written book reviews for Coldfront and Barrelhouse.
She edits Foundryand serves as an advisory board member for Nat. Brut and The Seventh Wave. She is a founding editor of Guernica. Elizabeth holds an MFA in Poetry from Sarah Lawrence College and an MA in English with a Writing Concentration from Fordham University. She lives in New York.
