Elizabeth Onusko is the author ofPortrait of the Future with Trapdoor, which received the 2015 Bryant-Lisembee Book Prize and was published by Red Paint Hill in spring 2016. Her poems have recently appeared or are forthcoming in Witness, Best New Poets 2015, Conduit, DIAGRAM, Fugue, Bennington Review, Sixth Finch,Poetry Northwest, and Southern Humanities Review, among others. She has written book reviews for Coldfront and Barrelhouse.
She is the editor of Foundry, the assistant editor of inter|rupture, and a founding editor of Guernica. She serves as an advisory board member for Nat. Brut and The Seventh Wave. Elizabeth holds an MFA in Poetry from Sarah Lawrence College and an MA in English with a Writing Concentration from Fordham University. She lives in New York.
