​About
Elizabeth Onusko is a poet and artist.

Her collection Portrait of the Future with Trapdoor received the 2015 Bryant-Lisembee Book Prize (Red Paint Hill, 2016). Her poems have appeared in Bennington Review, The Believer, Poetry Northwest, Sixth Finch, Washington Square Review, Columbia Poetry Review, Conduit, and Southern Humanities Review, among others. Her artwork has been selected for juried exhibitions at Bay Arts and Fairmount Center for the Arts.

Elizabeth is the former editor and publisher of Foundry, and she is a founding editor of Guernica. She serves as an advisory board member for The Seventh Wave.

She holds an MFA in Poetry from Sarah Lawrence College and an MA in English with a Writing Concentration from Fordham University.
